Was just looking for something on the Forge World website and scrolled down to the bottom of the Legions listings to check if anything had gone out of stock recently...

Now I know that the 'Temporarily Out of Stock' status for a kit isn't a surefire sign it is leaving production. It can often be due to reboxing or genuine stock issues. But considering the Cerberus is there, which we know is due to come out in plastic soon, I was wondering if there have been any rumours about a plastic (and presumably) MK VI Recon Squad?

Nope, but it could easily be done as an upgrade sprue for the Mk6 tactical squad.

Yeah, it could easily be a sprue like the special/heavy weapons.

Just a nemesis bolter cradled in some hands to fit the existing arms, some heads with optics, maybe a cloak that fits between the torso and backpack.

Stuff usually vanishes outright if it's getting a plastic kit soon. The Cerberus is a weird one in that it's been lingering for a while despite the announcement, but it could also point it it's release being a ways away yet (we haven't even had the Typhon yet).

My guess is that, for now, it’s a genuine stock issue. People probably snapped them up when they realized how good they were.

I am sure we’ll see something eventually, but they seem like they are in no rush. We don’t even have assault arms yet, so I doubt recon is high on the release order.

Honestly, would be nice to see some more infantry releases, not that I'm against converting (one of my favourite parts of the hobby), just would make it far easier to source regular line/troops that aren't Tac Marines, that and it would save my army from my abysmal attempts at sculpting cloaks
