Ok - so here goes.  Finally starting my project.

My first army, and my first delve into the Warhammer 40k universe.  I have ordered a massive armada of (almost) every current unit available for the Sororitas, most are still on the way from UK (I'm far far away).

While I'm not assembling myself (I have tremors that make it very difficult to do so), i can paint without much difficulty.

My colour scheme is the traditional black for armour, but Valejo Arctic Blue (metallic) for the cloths/robes. I will not be painting any order colour/schemes either (except for artifacts/edifices where applicable)

I am not using any airbrushing, dont have one.

Let's get this party started!

Points value?  far more than what is needed.  I ordered extra to build exactly what is needed for lists with enough left over for whatever changes might happen in june/july/future. and it seems with my bulk buying i've saved a couple of bucks with the price increases.

ok, i've finished my first 5 battle sisters.

hope i did ok.

I think they look solid. I like the gory toning on the chainsword.

If you were looking for things to take them up a level, adding dark-lining around the edges of the eyepieces would aid definition, although you're going to need a sharp brush, steady hand, and (probably) a magnifier! It's a bit hard to tell from the pictures (I think there's a mix of camera shake and shallow depth-of-field in them), but perhaps adding a thin edge highlight on the sharp edges/folds of the robes (e.g. the folded back bit on the right-most model in the last picture) might add a little bit of definition? Hopefully, it wouldn't take too long, as you can just trace down the edge with the side of the brush.
