isopropyl alcohol or methylated spirts but you dont want to soak it just dip and then start scrubbing with a soft toothbrush, and dip and brush over and over with the odd wash off in warm soapy water. It will nuke the paint but if you leave it to soak it can make the mini bendy. Other options are things like Biostrip but ive never used that on resin.

Biostrip should be used the same way as the isopropyl or methylated spirits, a little bit on a tooth brush and a light scrubbing.  Another way I've used is just warm very soapy water and some scubbing, takes a bit longer but is a much safer way, as long as the models aren't sealed which will be a bit more difficult.

From what I've heard, some chemicals you would be able to use on plastic can damage Forgeworld resin, especially if the model is allowed to soak. Ideally, the advice would be to test on a gate before on a model, but as they're second-hand, that's not an option. :sad:
