Looking for inspiration/suggestions

Hello everyone.

To make a short story long...

I was lucky to get a bunch of cheap second-hand generic legion minis and I'm looking for ideas on what to do with them. I already have my main armies (Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists), and allied detachments (all planned, painting in progress: Sons of Horus and Ultramarines) and now I'm left with:

 

20 Cataphractii Terminators

20 Mk VI tacticals

20 Mk IV tacticals

2 Spartans

Proteus Land Raider

Contemptor

2 Leviathans

Kratos with big melta

Enough bits to make 3 Praetors/Consuls (the easy ones, no Moritats for example).

Some special weapons (plasma guns, meltaguns, flamers, volkite chargers, lascannons, missile launchers).

 

What I was hoping was to get some ideas/suggestions on which legion and RoW would make this into a playable and hopefully thematic fighting force. I wasn't planning on spending more money, but I was planning to get 5 man special terminators to make a command squad. By playable, I meant balanced (where my understanding of balanced is: when I play Imperial Fists I refrain from using Stone Gauntlet as even I find it obnoxious, I also don't bring any 3+ inv saves except for Polux).

Hi! What about Word Bearers? If you can some CSM stuff like a unit of actual possessed (same size of Gal Vobak), a sorcerer and few extra miniatures you can make a nice army.

Iron Hands might be a good option for all those models. Unless of course you feel like they are a majority mark iii aesthetic.

 

A Pride of the Legion RoW may be a good option, and you could switch out the leviathans with the Kratos freely. Since you could take both spartans and proteus as dedicated transports.
