Valkyrion
What do you think? If I build a custodes jetbike as nature intended, but used White Scar heads and shoulder pads, on a scale of 1-10 how grumpy would an opponent likely be? Would those parts even fit? Mandragola
I'm actually thinking of using Custodian jetbikes for some bikes for my RGs, because I happen to have some spare. But I'd go quite a lot further than just trying to put a few RG bits on a custodian rider, with some work on the bike itself and a totally new rider. An actual custodian is way bigger than a marine so your WS bits almost certainly won't work in the way I think you're describing. I wouldn't have a problem playing against them or anything by the way, but I don't think it would look that good. I think you'd be much better off using the plastic space marine jetbikes as the basis for any conversion, then looking for lances somehow. The lance is basically the only thing the Custodian bikes have that you'd want. MARK0SIAN
I agree with Mandragola, I think you’d need to replace the rider entirely but other than that it would work quite well I think. Sparika
There is a tutorial on the Web for converting Custodes jetbikes into marines and it is not so difficult. Though I agree the Custodes rider is way to big so you actually need a Raven Wing sprue to achieve the conversion. On the raven wing bike you use the pilot and handles. If you are aiming at golden keshig, maybe it's more because of the spear rather than the bike itself. It may be easier to work from the plastic marines jetbikes and add white scars bits + buy separate custodes spears from a bits store to make it work. Noserenda
Yeah someone did a bunch of ravenwing jetbikers out of the custodes ones and they looked great, but i think were total rider swaps or only used the legs?
