3k Pride list, Thousand Sons

Hey Gang,

 

Here's my first list that I'm working towards completing. I have lots of secondary options, but this has some core pieces that I can switch around between Pride and GotCK.

 

The thought is the Herald can go in with the Flamer Squad to give them scoring and has a built in S10 chainsword from Biomancers Rage. This should help keep him cheap.

 

I originally wanted to put him with the Khenetai, but they would lose their mind song blade power if you attach anything to them...as I understand it.

 

The despoilers are there to protect the siege breaker which is used to blanket the scorpius, possibly the land raider, and laser destroyers, while handing out Sunder to the artillery or scorpius.

 

Units I'm looking at building, but haven't yet are; flamer squad & seeker squad.

I have two questions. One is if the Tactical Support Squad is with flamers. Well the basis weapon. I think, by your account, they're but a simple question don't hurts and i don't want to make a mistake...

And the only extra in the Vets are chainswords, right?

So the flamer support squad would have chainswords and a rhino. The sergeant has the achean force axe for S7 AP2 with additional attacks alongside his flamer.

 

The veteran squad is indeed just upgraded with chainswords rather than power weapons due to wanting them to be cheaper, but the sergeant does wield the power fist and artificer armor as well.

Ok. In my opinion, is a fine list. But i don't see a Tactical Support Squad with Flamers. Placing templates would be a bit complicated in a unit of 10. I have done something similar but with Volkite Calivers and the squad is accompanied by a Librarian with Divinitation to get Precion Shots and Strikes.

And is a pity to not have something extra in those Veterans, and take advantage of the Relentless rule.

But I think is a fine list.
