Land raider stripped and cleaned, i guess i can thank my younger self for having been too lazy to make a proper undercoat some 35 years ago :)

I have found proper stl for the doors, with a new livery.

I have also given the legs treatment to a technmarine so this old lady will have a mechanic to take care of her :)

The old rogue trader landraider is my favourite vintage kit, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with her.

Not sure if its doable, but you might want to try removing those track links on the front and replacing them with the flat (old) rhino style front plate.

As well, I missed commenting on it earlier, but your flier turned out very nicely.

Thank you :)

I've just check, unfortunately this track has fused with the front panel, i'm afraid if i try micro surgery i will mess the whole panel :/

I'm calling the greebling done !!

That was a ride, the 80's plastic didn't want to glue correctly :/

Can't wait for all parts to dry to start unifying the patches with a proper undercoat :)

Out of curiosity, what was the issue you had with gluing the plastic?

The glue took essentially forever to take on :)

I use a loctite super glue as a standard for the assembly, I met two problems :

- The pinning of broken lascannon

- The interface between old plastic / new plastic

My guess on those two problems is that i did not washed properly the 80's plastic when I removed the paint (I used a mild dissolvant glycerine based). So I think there was a chemical reaction between the glycerine and the loctite :/

As I plan to have some cannon fodder operatives in my HH3.0 army list, its time to start to convert some old chaps :)

They come in very cheap in the current version : 300 points for 40 guys, which mean i'm in for loooonng ride :)

Not sure I recognise the model in the middle, but I certainly recognise the others from the old catalogues when I first got into the hobby....

Nostalgia hit ...

Every mini is roughly from the same era, each one is a scout.

Number 3 and 4 are the same scouts from the advanced space crusade box. The "blue" one was a test when i was trying to build hoods with green stuff. For both of them, i have now chopped the arms and give them a 3d printed militia rifle replacement.

For more nostalgia hit, I've got back a handful of confrontation hive gangers I've already converted for my 40k Alpha legion, I will now repurpose them for Horus Heresy

With those 6 ones, only 29 more minis  to go :)

From left to right :

- Confrontation techganger

- Confrontation techganger

- Converted Scout with a long rifle

- Confrontation techganger

- Confrontation techganger with a john woo attitude

- THE chainsaw warrior :)

Got some time to paint the first batch of operatives :)

This is waaaayyyyyy longer then painting the marines, but a welcome change in the routine and a good opportunity to try some things :)
