If you haven't seen it yet, Games Workshop has given the tabletop miniature wargame a revolutionary advance in our fitness needs (see this article).

I was part of the playtest group for this product and was previously under NDA. With the announcement, however, I have been given permission to show the version of the warhammer that I playtested:

The initial playtest versions used third party products, I think. I got the 16 lb. version and used it to train with old tractor tires we had on the farm. It was also good for smashing rocks and taking care of the odd wild pigs that wandered onto the property. I found it to be especially effective when yelling "For the Emperor!" The composite handle was great and I'm a big fan of the orange (I love Fiskars products), but the feedback I gave was that a 16 lb. head would probably be a bit much, especially for those of us that don't get out of the basement often. I know a few other playtesters and the consensus was that an 8 lb. head would be better and less expensive. And apparently some Horus Heresy enthusiasts lobbied for a resin handle instead of the composite material that my version used.  I think they ended up going with the Black Templars (or Black Legion, if you prefer) black, instead.

Anyhoo, we'd love to see images of your finished exercise warhammers here, especially if you paint yours in custom colors (I went with NMM for the head). Bonus points if you're smashing tires/rocks or doing the White Scar routine in your pictures.
