What releases can we expect in 10th edition

i heard/saw lots of speculation about that, but never any solid rumors. valrak mentioned 2 new regiments or something like that.

As a Blood Angel collector/player/hobbyist/fanboy I'm hoping for the following in 10th edition.

 

1. New Sanguinor model with primarch, or near primarch level stats. A Blood Angel Lord of War. 

 

2. Primaris Brother Corbulo, and Primaris Astorath.

 

3. Primaris Sanguinary Priest.

 

4. Primaris Sanguinary Guard. 

 

Thats it ;)

I’m really hoping my World Eaters get the long rumored Butcher Surgeon support character. Also hoping for unique terminators and jugger cavalry, but I know that neither is likely.

 

I have really liked what has been revealed for Nids so far. I hate painting swarms of chaff, but if Nidzilla is a thing I might be tempted. Hive Fleet Tiamet has a nice scheme, looks fun to paint.

 

Exodites would be fun, though it would probably end up amounting to another forgotten Eldar faction like the Ynnari.

The guard rumour? Not sure if it was anywhere other than Valrak but looks a very solid bet especially with recent plastic releases for both

I expect Kill Team to bring us Catachan, Striking Scorpions and Mandrakes at some point, it makes too much sense. 

 

Personally would love to see plastic Krieg Grenadiers and Command Squad, although I think that's unlikely. 

 

Exodites seem very likely as a new army according to rumors.

The "two brand new regiments" rumour precedes Valrak by a wide margin; it was part of the big list that was posted on here and subsequently removed.

 

We're still waiting on a few errant releases from that; CSM Bikers, for example.

I can see them holding the bikers back till they get their 10th edition codex. Its been a while since I last looked at that list, was it just the IG units and bikers we're missing?

In no particular order: Nids, Terminator characters, Votaan, new Draigo/Grey Knights, Custodes vehicle/dreads, Dark Angels characters, Emperor's Children, Haemonculus, Archon, Warp Spiders. Kroot Hounds

Custodes could really use a ranged option for troops. Or even ranged heavy troops or ranged terminators. 

 

Them being literally the choppy boys or the guys with golden tanks that have dea guns is kinda... inflexible. 

 

Really a full proper talons army list would be amazing but gw has shown strikingly little love to custodes since 2018.

A Jump Lieutenant for Marines would be a nice option, ideally paired with something to provide and Invulnerable save.

 

The ability to take Eliminators, Outriders and Suppressors in larger squads as well as MPKs for the latter two.

 

Plastic kits for the remaining Eldar Aspect Warriors and matching Phoenix Lords.
