ZeroWolf
Okay, my plan has already gone awry. Went to get the Leviathan contrast paint I use for my base purples and discovered this: Hard to tell from the picture but that's not a liquid anymore... Dang, doing the bone/armour is going to have to wait till I get to town and pick up some more. Wasn't all bad though as another ten gaunts went green. Spending more time with these guys shown me that I have to be a bit more careful with handling to them as when the previous owner transplanted them to their new base size, they, well, this is how they did it: They cut down the part of model that used to slide into the old slotta bases and then glued that onto the new bases making connections that don't feel fantastic. Hoping tonight I'll have the last five Hormagaunts and the Barbagaunts green. That was the worst part, wasn't even empty Still half a pot left that became some sort of acrylic block. I did consider cutting the rails off but in the end, it would be too much work to reattach them to the base. My basing scheme should hide them well enough anyway. Have taken some measures to hopefully get a pot tonight, so I should still on track. kabaakaba
did you try add some thinner into the pot and give it a good shake? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/378169-zerowolfs-painting-trials/page/13/#findComment-6116794 Share on other sites
ZeroWolf
Didn't make a difference to be fair. I've only ever had a couple of pots do this to me. One of which was over twenty years old in a twisty lid, so I kind of understood that one Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/378169-zerowolfs-painting-trials/page/13/#findComment-6116797 Share on other sites

I literally had some of those pots dry out before I ever opened them! (the old white flip-tops on the other hand ... I have some from the early 1990s that are fine) ZeroWolf 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/378169-zerowolfs-painting-trials/page/13/#findComment-6116853 Share on other sites

My dad still had some of the 90s citadel paints in good condition as well, its strange to say the least. I've also got a pot of Snakebit Leather that comes from around the same time but when they returned to flip lids.
