Balance for Boarding Actions lists

Hi, completely new player who's dragged my buddy into the hobby for some Boarding Actions, uh, action. Just wondering if anyone has played it and can offer an opinion on whether the models either of has will completely dominate the other?

 

I've got 20 Emperor's Children Legionaries and a Master of Executions. He's got 20 Battle Sisters, 5 Repentia (inc. superior), 3 Arco-Flagellants, and a Canonness. Points are 485 vs 498 (depending on loadout) respectively.

 

Obviously we're not gonna worry about WYSIWYG so heavy/special weapons will be more or less whatever we feel like, but I just wanted to check that neither side is likely to annihilate the other (even in a noob vs noob matchup) to the extent that it won't be worth setting up the terrain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
