Remember that speculation about dismounted hernkyn pioneers for kill team? This will just be an Ork that crashed his Shokkjump Dragsta and took the weapon with him into whatever the next Killteam setting will be

Oh wouldn't it be great to get a big fat Nazdreg! It IS odd that GW's Ork poster army is the only one without a named character.

 

I believe he was in one of the AoO books (although he had an uncertain fate I think?)

Definitely not badrukk. That wouldn't fit the rippa aesthetic and the badrukk we have, I'm not sure how they could improve it bar just porting it over to plastic

I'd expect a named character to not use a CAD so exactly, at least not on orks. Could be a multi option (like autarch, latest lieutenant, canoness etc.) Big mek, though a gut feeling says upgrade sprue.

On one hand it could be new vehicle, Mork & Gork knows Ork could use some sort of (Leman Russ/ Predator) tank equivelant.

 

On the other hand it could be just updated existing unit.

 

On third random mechanical hand it could be Mekboy Junka model.

Ork and my best guess would be a weapon from a new tankbustas unit that will feature early in season 3 of kill team.

Given that it's a reused CAD, I'm going to guess it probably isn't a named character - those typically get a fancier special weapon (especially for orks). I'll put my money on multi-part mek kit or tankbustas based on the current profile from the dragsta (8/-3/d6).

Good call on the upgrade sprue. So many people were complaining about the new Boyz kit they may be releasing one to add more variety to that box.

I'd love to see it like a "Beamy Deffgun" like the ones from Dawn of War Retribution. I also agree with Dezron a dedicated Orky tank would be ace. I know the Gunwagon tries to fill that niche but it's still a bit Jack of all trades for that task.

A shokk rifle in a unit would be interesting. It seems like kind of a powerful weapon to be part of an upgrade sprue for the boyz mob, but maybe.
