Shops in the UK this Saturday

A bit of a random question, but are (UK forum users) your local GW's or independents open on Coronation Saturday as normal?

Most shops have their own social media page, you could try asking on there to save a wasted trip.

Its not a Bank Holiday so they should be.

Haven't heard anything from any retailer locally, hobby-related or otherwise, suggesting they're going to be closed. It's not a national holiday (unlike the Queen's funeral which was, hence widespread closures) so I think you can probably assume stores will be open as usual.

Monday 8th is the Bank Holiday/day off for the Coronation.

If you're planning a visit to any of them in particular, the best bet is to phone them (or ping them on social media, etc).

 

Whilst it's not a bank holiday, some of the non-hobby shops near me are closed over the weekend (and I'm aware of at least one large bank, and another national chain, which is), so it's seems there might not be a "general rule".
