hd3
Hi! I was thinking of getting into Killteam but I was curious, *Can you use current 40k models for your kill team? Or only certain models? * What do I need to run kill Team? Just the starter set? I already have a unit of chaos Legionnaries *Which kill team box set had the terrain for boarding actions? Thank you! Solution Colman Posted May 20, 2023 Solution Share Posted May 20, 2023 1. Yes. 2. Core rules and compendium. Some terrain. You can make the rest, though measuring tools and tokens and so on would be nice. 3. Into the Gallowdark. Kallas
1 hour ago, Colman said: 2. Core rules and compendium. One addendum to this: the Compendium is good for basic Kill Teams, but there are various books, including the KT Annual 2022, which contains rules for the 'bespoke' (ie, the fully fleshed out teams, eg, Kasrkin, Pathfinders, Legionnaires, etc) that come in the big box sets (and separately). Compendium teams are very much there to use some units before factions get bespoke teams; if you're using Legionnaires, you will likely already have many parts of the Legionary KT, so it might be better for you to grab the Nachmund book instead of the Compendium. You can also use [a certain Wikipedia-like website] for Kill Team, and it cites the books/documents it draws from, so you can find which book you need for the various Kill Teams.
