The Pounder
Well met brothers! I was going through my hobby cupboard and I remembered I had a lot of Space Marines stuff sitting around doing nothing (oh the shame!) Amongst them was my rendition of Guilliman! I was really happy with it. With 10th more or less with us (minus points) I thought why not start something new, so here we are! The pics below will show the colour scheme I’m going with: Ultramarines Indomitus Captain Guilliman Guilliman Guilliman Now the question is where next? I have a couple of sets of Indomitus and was thinking maybe Blade Guard? All comments and advice very much appreciated. The Pounder
Thanks Sea Creature! Looking forward to getting what I painted and on the table! This week’s progress was a Chaplain! Really enjoyed working on this one. As it was from the Indomitus box it took about 3 minutes to build! Not sure which unit he will lead, maybe Bladeguard Veterans? The Pounder
Thanks very much! I’m just waiting on some bitz to arrive then I’ll be painting a Captain. That should do for the leadership! The Pounder
I was sorting through my hobby photos and came across this: Tigurius Tigurius Tigurius Tigurius Thought I’d share while I’m waiting for my Ultramarines order to arrive! I’m thinking of having him lead an Assault Intercessors Squad. Am I right in thinking the strength of the Ultramarines is their Characters? The Pounder
This week’s update is a Primaris Captain for my Ultramarines! He’s been embellished with various bitz and pieces. I really wanted to double down on the Greek/Roman aesthetic. I wanted him to have a power fist that was pointing as though he was giving orders! Here’s the pics: Ultramarines Primaris Captain Ultramarines Primaris Captain Ultramarines Primaris Captain Ultramarines Primaris Captain Really happy with how this one turned out. mel_danes, Ulfast, Damo1701 and 6 others 5 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/379045-the-pounder-paints-ultramarines/#findComment-5966342 Share on other sites

The Pounder
Well I’ve been playing a lot of Spacemarine 2. (Great game!) This has given me the bug to paint some boys in blue! It’s about time I finished them as they've been sat in a crate for far too long. With this in mind I’ve painted some Aggressors for my Ultramarines: Ultramarines Aggressors Ultramarines Aggressors Ultramarines Aggressors Ultramarines Aggressors Ultramarines Aggressors I’m really happy with the decals, I think I’ll be using them a lot more moving forward. The Pounder
Well I’ve finished a unit of Sternguard Veterans for the Ultramarines! I really wanted to double down on the Greco-Roman aesthetic for these chaps. With that in mind I bought some upgrade kits from Archie’s Forge (which were amazing) and went at it! The Pounder
This week’s update is something big and shooty. I have painted the Dread that came in the Leviathan box though he’s in the livery of the second company. Again, I’m trying to work on my neatness so I’m pretty happy with it. Since I got the Micro set/sol decal solution I feel confident with applying the extra details.
