Anyone else having this problem?

Also, my tracking info is not working.

If it's a royal mail tracking number then I know the royal mail are having issues with parcels and staffing - my local depot haven't done a full round since the 22nd - the tracking only updates when they scan it at a depot. If you don't mind a 15-20 minute call then I found them quite helpful.

Received shipping confirmation from GW today. It’s also been shipped by a courier that I don’t recognise, so hopefully they don’t transit from Nottingham to my house via Narnia…

Bit annoyed that the box will be a week old by the time I get it - I thought the point of a pre order was to get it on release day.

Do people actually receive pre-orders the day of release? That's never, NEVER happened in my experience. It's always been:

- Pre-orders go up on a Saturday the week prior to official release date

- Release date Saturday (items should be available for retail purchase on this date)

- Pre-orders ship during the week after official release date

In my experience, pre-ordering items from the GW webstore is essentially a guarantee that you'll receive them a week+ after the official release date.

In my experience, it’s been the complete opposite. Either the day before or release day itself,

- I had one house where GW preorders would consistently turn up either on the Friday or on the actual Saturday launch day. (About 50/50 between Friday or Saturday)

- I had another house in a completely different part of the country where the preorders would occasionally show on the Friday, but usually on the Saturday launch day.

The very occasional release might show up on the Monday, but that was more a Royal Mail failure then a GW one.

I have never had a preorder not be shipped prior to the official launch, let alone not shipped until almost a week after launch day.

I believe pre-orders are handled somewhat differently in different countries; the UK is generally dispatched early to arrive on launch day, while I believe the US doesn't (plus the US is a lot bigger, so further for parcels to go anyway). That said, royal mail seems to be struggling these days, and I've had a bunch of non-GW stuff take a week+ to arrive after dispatch - the 3rd parties can't ALL be lying about when they put them in the post. So i can definitely relate to people still waiting on their Leviathan parcel. Hopefully it will eventually turn up; or if royal mail eats it, GW has some reserves to dispatch by alternate courier.

No, over the years pre-brexit i had pre-orders turn up on thursdays before launch date.

But 2 things happened, some people leaked stuff early and GW didnt like that and Brexit which made shipping from and to UK even worse.

It seems that GW is flooded. I just got an email letting me know my Index Cards and Mission Cards order won't ship until July 7th.

I got all mine yesterday at the local GW shop… it’s like five minutes drive from my home.
