Not nesacarily, could also be an easy out for a plastic apothecary, the minimum size command squad is 3 (?). The 40k command squad is a package deal these days, not an exact unit.

Yeah, that's the point! xD

Since an Apothecary isn't a unit option, ofcourse it would be a model you could use otherwise. But the fact, that it is shown on the same base as the remaining CommandSquad, heavily implies, that it can be attached through a future Errata/QA.

1 Master of the Legion/1 Legion Standard/2 Chosen/1 Apothecary - that's 5 Dudes, which is likely the Unit size, that they'll be released as.

I highly doubt, that they'll release a full 10/11man squad - 1 Master of the Legion/1 Legion Standard/up to 8 Chosen and an Apothecary.

...though i would'nt mind to be proven wrong =]

I hope you are wrong. I'd rather have a box with 8 choosen instead.

Having a command box including models like you meantioned would mean that we'd have to buy it twice for a full squad which would be unpleasant to say the least.

And it would feel like 40k with their HUGE models and tiny squads.

But I agree it seems very likely.

Id expect a 10 man box with optional parts for the Apothecary and banner bearer myself, probably 2 of each because of the way they do sprues in SG.

Well, that or just a 5 man box, that actually makes sense.

5 models in some sort of artificier armour with a few weapon options would be one medium sized sprue. Then that lets them have another sprue or half sprue with accessories like a standard, special or centurion weapons, some apothecary parts.  Seems reasonable. Ten would be great but the price would need to be quite siginficant given its an 'elite' choice, meaning they wont expect to sell as many as line type units.

Hey guys. - I have seen here and elsewhere a few people worrying about the prospect of painting small minis for this game. I think there is no need to worry as for the most part it's super easy to paint at that scale and especially for marines.

Here is a guide I did some time ago, hopefully will be of some use to someone
