Somewhere to advertise commission painting service?

Hi all, I'm really sorry if this is the incorrect format or improper way of posting I've never actually posted here even though I've lurked for a long while.

 

I thought I'd ask if anybody is aware of anywhere I can advertise my commission painting services? I've tried a bit with general social media (Instagram etc) and met with little luck, I've used reddit to good success showing off my minis however can't advertise in mostly all subs there.

 

If anyone could help, that'd be great. I'm really interested in starting to expand my service since I've already done some personal jobs for people.

From the top of my head having a dedicated website helps, something all those social media posts should lead to.

 

Regarding social media posts you should probably aim for frequent posts but avoid spamming while also being on all the platforms since different age groups would be scattered in differing proportions (Facebook tends to be older while Instagram and now Threads would be progressively younger while still under the Meta umbrella). Something like the shorts siege studios put on YouTube probably also work.

 

A bit more old school would be renting ad space on websites where it makes sense.

You should be fine with just insta and tiktok, those two alone cover most of the generation spread.

I use Fiverr.com. Fiverr adds ~30% to what you charge. So I personally take less on Fiverr (so that it still equals what I charge off of Fiverr) so pricing isn't insane, then move off of Fiverr for and additional commissions.
