2k Iron Warriors Brethren of Iron

[Brother Kraskor]

This is a mostly fluff-focused list representing my Iron Warriors Company, which finds itself in charge of a Forge World at the start of the Heresy, whose senior leadership have lost all faith in their flesh & blood troops and have turned increasingly to automata. I'm not fussed about it being super competitive but I don't want to get curb stomped every game, so keen to hear your thoughts fraters:

Backline: Praevian with Castellax and the Thanatar will hang out together to make use of the Cortex Controller.

 

Midboard: Tactical squads advance with the Tyrants & Thallax to take objectives

 

Forward assault/counter-attack: Praetor, Command Squad, and Forge Lord all pile into the Land Raider to deliver a nasty volume of AP2 counter-punch. Plus with two Battlesmiths (one 2+, one 3+) provided it doesn't get exploded the Land Raider has a reasonable chance of seeing out a lot of the game.

Model with the MotL rule who unlocks the RoW has to be the warlord.

Lots of cool stuff but seems a bit top-heavy? Apart from the tacticals, who has “line”?

Fair cop! In that case I think he'd take the Stoic Defender trait.

The Praetor's Command squad and the Thallax are both Line (until the Banner bearer is killed mind!). But I do take your point that the list is thin on the ground in terms of numbers.
