Brother Captain Sirus
Recently returned to the hobby after a good few years, as free time is finally allowing more lengthy projects. Long story short, I had been planning to pick this mini up for a while, but when it was announced he was being retired, it lit the fire to get a hold of him and get it done. So without further ado, my firstborn librarian with a MKIV helmet is ready to hit the field in one way or another. It was a lovely model to paint up and I've thoroughly enjoyed diving back in to a hobby that filled my late teens/early twenties with weekly matches and endless amount of crafting. Dr_Ruminahui
Nice job! Colour wise, it is a real throwback to the vibrant colourschemes in 2nd edition, which is appropriate given that many of the elements of the model (the force stave in particular) do likewise. Firedrake Cordova
Nice work. I like the usage of "2nd Edition yellow" on the force weapon The head swap works well, and the de-cherubing cleans the model up a bit. I have based the cherub on its own, so it can be used in 4th ed games Edited August 18, 2023 by Brother Captain Sirus Firedrake Cordova 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/379844-ultramarines-librarian-a-fitting-send-off/#findComment-5979468 Share on other sites
