Got a bit of a noob question for the fine folks of Bolter and Chainsword today.

I'm making an Ironclad Dreadnought. I'm currently painting him right now. I painted the base. It's the first time I've painted a base before attaching the model to it. As I was thinking about it I think I may have screwed up. I'm not sure how I'm going to attach it without melting my paint work.

Do any of you have a idea I might attach it without melting my paint off the base?

Thanks.

Using a knife (or any metal object really), carefully score the base where the feet will go, make sure to get to the plastic. You don't need to uncover the entirely of the foot, just inner most 1/2 or so, as long as there is plastic to plastic contact, and you are not heavy-handed with the glue, you will be fine to use plastic glue
