We need some way to alert GW that their continued withholding of Titanicus is a travesty!

It's fairly routine for a product to be temporarily unavailable when a new product (in this case Legions Imperialis) that wraps models from other games and snatches the supply up into the newer game, so I'm sure Titanicus will be back .... soon.... soonish?

Having said that, if enough pressure is applied, maayyybeee GW will feel the pressure to speed up production. As Brother Scribe has presented a constructive and practical plan of assault, I'm all in on the email campaign:yes: We've got your back Brother:thumbsup:

I’m happy to do this but are we sure this will even notify a human at GW in anyway? I’m not asking rhetorically, it’s a genuine question, I always just assumed it was an automated process, would GW staff even be aware of how many people have asked to be notified?

In my opinion, considering how tight the production schedule seem to be, people asking to be notified when the product is back won't make them rush to produce it, no matter how big the "demand" is.

Still, if those numbers are part of the data GW use to guess the popularity of a range, it could signify to them that a product is in demand, and so lead them to consider giving it more attention?

At this point, this is just me making assumptions, and since I really don't know how they work / analyse, and what they use or not as metrics and data, I'm probably speaking non-sense.

YES:yes:... If enough people make the request, significant stats will be noted, and if the numbers are good, production might be bumped up on the timetable. What those numbers might be, only GW knows. But it takes no significant time and effort on our part to make the request, and if enough of us do it, we might just have an impact... It sure beats shaking our fists at the sky:wink:

Or, it perhaps boils down to this: Doing this MIGHT achieve nothing.

But doing nothing will definitely achieve nothing.

So why not try?

I would caution, if lots of people tick 'notify when in stock' they produce a batch and none of it sells (because you generally wanted Titanicus stuff, not the core set) that could send an entirely different message to GW having produced a run of stock that's not selling....

I don't see why they wouldn't be able to get a report per product of how many 'active' waits there are, so long as that information is stored somewhat reasonably.

I'm not sure their turnaround time on it though, but it can't hurt.

They do have a couple of these around locally, I've been tempted to buy one every time I walk by.

More serious OP, i think you didnt follow the announcements  for Legion Imperialis on WarCom, Facebook etc.

It was Said by GW that the Titanicus Titans will be repacked with new slimer bases.

That will probably include the Starter Set as it includes some Titan Kits too.

I guess he was talking about the game as a whole, with its own ruleset. I could have missunderstood. Will the rules for AI and AT specifically be kept, or will it be only LI?

As i Heard AT will stay for the Titan enjoyers, but as said will be repacked.

Aeronautica will go/ is gone. All Xenos got removed and some of the "modern" Flyers like the Valkyrie. The rest like the SM Flyers will get new bases and only be playable in Legion Imperialis.

Since the HH AI book is still available, I thought this one was safe..... Well, I guess it was predictable, but I still think it sucks to delete rulebooks. Would it cost that much to keep them as pdf download? There use to be all the SG game rules available for free on the GW website, and I don't think that was causing any issue....

I think @Scribe's point (deduced from posts in other topics) is that the to-be-repackaged titan and knight models are currently unavailable to buy. They're not shown at all in the webstore. With LI being delayed we can assume this situation will continue for some months.

There is demand for these models from new and existing players of AT and hitting the 'email me when in stock' button for the game is a way of making that demand visible to GW. Personally I think a barrage of emails saying "I want to buy titans" would be clearer, but this is a minimal effort approach that might get more people involved.

Correct on all fronts.

GW explicitly stated via WarCom that only Heresy Era AI will be staying around. That aside, the main game is gone, sadly (and before they did Chaos, which was the faction I was really waiting for ).

GW have also said that AT is staying around too - as evidenced from the fact that the last Heavy Warhounds will include AT rules

Based on what information we have, Titanicus will most likely be rolled into LI, but if we are lucky Titanicus will survive as a sub-game as well. But most importantly, the models will still be there and new ones on the way over time:drool: One way or another, The Collegia Titanica LIVES:yes:

Having said this, I still highly encourage ALL participating in this most worthy thread to honor Brother Scribe's request. It can do no harm and may do some good:thumbsup:

I also ask that in order to honor Brother Scribe's request and do the most good here, we restrain ourselves so that this thread does not go off topic.
