Same, sisters were my first 40k army back when they had the 2nd ed codex:wub:

and I preferred them back then to how they are now:yes:

Not even considering them in 10th with the silly unit sizes and anti tank problems:furious:

I hope you'll forgive my ignorance but I've never really took an interest in the SOB until the refresh came along, however I've still not really looked at them until this article. My burning question is, what mini is the one in between  Veridyan and Ephrael Stern ? Was this a special edition mini, like for a convention?  I remember the art associated with it, just can't recall ever seeing the mini before.

Thanks

I think of her as Sister Covid.

She was available during the quarantine, and I saw her as both a way to support the company during challenging times, and the model was something to look forward to at a time when everything else around me seemed to be going off the rails.

What's interesting about the character is that she's not a hero- she's a battle-line sister- sort of like Amalia Novena and Ripper Jackson.

The "Everywomen" of the 41st Millennium.
