Forgeworld legion special & heavy weapon packs compatibility

Hey guys, I know this may have been asked before, but couldn't find quite the right topic.
So as I understand it, the  new plastic HH special and heavy weapon kits are designed to work with the Mk VI stuff (and while Mk VI arms might not look too different to Mk IV arms barring the slight overlap of the vambraces with the gauntlets on the Mk IV, so you could probably get away with using them there, they're very different to those of the Mk III suits so would stick out rather obviously).
What I want to know is what the current forgeworld heavy and special weapon sets (the graviton guns, volkite chargers, ryza pattern lascannons etc) are compatible with -i.e. will they fit onto the Mk III/IV HH plastic kits, or even 40k tactical squads? Or do they need lots of filing/clipping to get them to work?
Apologies if this is done to death, or if this is posted in the wrong place. Just looking for some ideas before I commit to buying any expensive resin upgrades!

The Forge World Special/Heavy weapons work with the MKIII/IV out of the proverbial box. 

 

The new MKVI (and presumably the upcoming MKIII update) don't have the 'open left hand' that the FW Heavy/Special Weapons require.

The FW resin kits need adapting slightly to the current/old plastic mkiii. I suspect they were originally designed for plastic MkIV.

 

Interestingly the MKVI heavy weapon arms don’t look too bad when you add some MKiii plastic vambraces:

Some fit better than others. The Lascannons in particular really don't fit the MkIII well at all, but some of the other weapons do drop in pretty easily.

 

In other news, big fan of what you've done with the MkVI arms on the MkIII bodies. If we weren't just about to get redone MkIII, I'd be making myself some of those.
