Repulsor executioner turret on standard repulsor

Hey everyone

 

As im thinking of getting a repulsor or the executioner variant.

Is the turret swapable between them?

I have looked on the sprues on the GW site and it looks like the top part of the hull are a little different.

Im thinking of buying the ordinary variant and then convert/3D print an executioner turret to swap it around so i can use both versions. 

Hope one of you can help me.

They are swappable as both turrets have the same size ring on the bottom to fit into the hull. The top of the hulls on both tanks are slightly different. The Repulsor's is narrower in the raised section where the turret mounts as it has to leave space for the sponson weapons above the side doors.

That seems like something i can work around.

It used to be that a simple turret swap would not work as the secondary weapons were different between the two variants. But now that all those bolters and grenade launchers have simply been abstracted to a bunch of S4 shots, it should be quite feasible to swap them over.
