MadGreek
Similar to a topic about Suppressors I posted a bit earlier - the way the Index Cards are written, Reivers can take BOTH the Grav Chutes AND the Grapnel Launchers. I KNOW in 9th it was either / or. I am reading this correctly, right? I like this change. Metzombie
I am almost a 100% certain they could allways take both. Wormwoods
Yeah, it's the knives and carbines that were, bafflingly, mutually exclusive. Lord Nord in Gravis Armour
Yeah, Grapnels and Grav-Chutes have always been an either/both/neither thing. They were never mutually exclusive at any point. But GW seemed to build all of their studio models with just one option (and usually pairing the grapnels with the knives and grav-chutes with the carbines). This of course manages the near-impossible task of making Reivers even worse in the current edition since anyone playing under WYSIWYG rules using squads they built in earlier editions is now penalized for not taking those wargear options that are now free. And it makes the ETB models the absolute worst choice as they don't have either option. Dracos
I’ve never met an opponent yet that were bothered by that level of detail as long as they were visually close and talked it out pre game. Let’s be serious how many of us actually know what would be wysiwyg for tyranids lol DemonGSides, jaxom and Sea Creature 2 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380104-reivers-a-statement-question/#findComment-5984409 Share on other sites
DemonGSides
Yeah WYSIWYG only works on certain armies/situations. Have the convo before hand, make your opponent make it obvious if something is proxy'd, and be willing to advocate for yourself and there isn't any real issue. MadGreek
Thanks all. Now that I read the posts I seem to remember it could be both - but it got expensive so I didn't model both. Now with everything "free" and included I guess I remembered wrong. mel_danes 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380104-reivers-a-statement-question/#findComment-5984479 Share on other sites
