While many probably pass this as non 40k, I think there is a good chance this is a drukhari rumor engine.

 

Apart from Mandrakes similair style crude cleavers can be found in all Haemonculi covens, the Hellions and the recent hands of the Archon kit. (though admittedly.. this one is rather plain compared to many of them.) however why my mind jumps to Mandrakes is because we previously had ;

 

Wich could easily be a lot of things, but also strikes alot of mandrake design elements (altough somehow the hand feels very avian to me).

 

 

Im not 100% convinced its mandrakes or even drukhari.. though I think there is enough potential to talk about it ? Also, to not lock my mind in one corner, in general something about the blade is more 40k/Necromunda/30k to me than it is AoS.

As Finecast minatures, they would be a good target for an upgrade plus they'd fit really well in Killteam. This is a great theory!

The only think I can think of that might knock it are the Nadrite weapons for Ossiarch Bonereapers:

 

However, it doesn't appear to have any extra bone bits like these examples so I think your Mandrake idea holds!

I know exactly what this is. Partial serrations on the blade make me think it's more likely in the 40k/Necromunda side of things. That's not something I'd expect on a fantasy miniature.

 

Mandrakes I think are a good guess on what it could be from.

The copy accompanying the image really made me chuckle! A lovely set of in-universe/meta jokes made it feel much less corporate than WarCom can sometime feel. :)

 

Think @TheMawr may well be onto something with the idea of this as mandrakes – the blades look very similar. Nice spot!

I'm not the biggest fan of Mandrakes but I'll take it, really hoping it's something for Drukhari. Crazy-totally-unlikely hope/prediction; Baron Sathonyx is coming back and this is part of his glaive.

First thing I thought of when I saw this was Drukhari cleavers.  We have already had a Drukhari Kill Team which has only just had it's independent release but it would be nice to see them use KT to update a fine cast kit.

Once our range is free of Finecast, I would like to see some new units introduced to the Dark Eldar.

i mean it looks like imperial knife, by looking at the serrations and finger guard. Hand holding it looks human with no gloves.
