Filius
Hjolda! now that I have a pack of blood claws and a pack of Grey Hunters, Lukas will finally be my next model to paint. While looking at some artworks and painted minis of him to get a feeling for the colours I noted that the wolf head and bones on his right shoulder pad are often painted black (esp. on the cover of his novel and the mini from the webshop). As he's still a blood claw, I would have assumed that it would rather be red. Is there any "official" explanation or good story why the wolfs head is black? As always: Thanks a lot for any help in advance! Wispy
i believe this is the heavy metal Lukas as viewed from the side. They do black and yellow, clearly. there's no official explanation, i just assume it's a painter doing his own thing, assuming this special character would be yellow-black like the other hero characters. I would agree a red-and-black colour scheme is more appropriate and what i would do if painting the model for myself.
