nusphigor
Hello everyone! I just had a nostalgia trip on facebook and found an album with pics of my old alphas army from 2013-ish and I kinda wanted to replicate that colour scheme again. Can you help me please with any suggestions on how to replicate this colour scheme using current GW paints? Specially that turquoise? Many thanks and I'll look forward to your replies. Cheers! LameBeard
I think it’s (confusingly) more blue than your colour, but Sotek Green would look really good and be quite close. I think it might be a layer paint, so Stegadon Scale Green as the closest base? I tried with stegaddon green but it's still too blue, and sotek green is way too bright :/ Someone was suggesting Incubi darkness but I haven't find any, so i guess it'll have to wait :P LameBeard 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380700-help-with-an-alpha-legion-colour-scheme/#findComment-5992368 Share on other sites
Imren
If you cant find incubi darkness then get coal black from P3, its the same colour. As highlight I'd mix in sotek green into coal black (or incubi darkness) and build up a highlight. Xenith
It kind of looks like Dark Reaper? At any rate, perhaps incubi darkness then highliught with reaper, then thunderhawk as the extreme highlight? Firedrake Cordova
Long shot and possibly stupid question: I don't suppose you can remember the colours you used at the time? From memory, GW switched their paint manufacturer in either 2012 or 2013.
