It's that time of the year again, the Ladz are chomp'n to stomp some Gitz and weez gotta paint some Green.

 

So as some of you know I painted a massive Ork commission for The Call to Arms, one of those models was Ghazghull Thraka,

 

 

I painted this model in one day over two sessions, great right?

 

The problem is below is MY Ghazghull, which I bought on RELEASE DAY......

 

 

As you can see, he's in a poor way, and I don't even know where his face could even be.....BUT, I' am going to give it my very best shot to get Ghaz done by months end.

 

 

This thread, is not just for me however, feel free to post and share your own Orktober goals and projects and we all can keep each other company and motivated, so lets see some green

Thanks for hosting the Call To Arms @Grotsmasha. I was pleased to finally get my Kommandos painted - they have been waiting long enough!

 

I've started on my birthday Trukk, just in time for Orktober!

I’ve been working on my Bayard’s Revenge. It’s a really nice model, very fun to paint.

Hmmmm, I also have a Bayards Revenge.....no promises, but if Ghaz goes well I may just crack that seal.

Hmmm, I´m a little burned out on Orks BUT I do have Zodgrod Wortsnagga somewhere. The notion of playing with supercharged grots in my next game is tempting!

Converted and assembled my Bayards Revenge just in case I have time to get to it, didn't want to be caught out with it unbuilt when I have time to paint,

I've made small steps on both my projects, but not sure if either will be finished by Tuesday.....

I'm in a similar state... a bit burned out after Call to Arms, I guess. Have a few more hours work on Bayard's Revenge; should get it done, but it feels like a slog at this point.

I finally got started on the Painboss yesterday 

 

 

I was hoping to have the trio done, however since it is October I wanted to start on my spooooky Flesh Eater Courts, which took up a chunk of the month. Thankfully I think I’ll be done tommorow (except for basing)

So I was able to partially complete the Painboss

I still want to base and edge highlight him, but overall I’m pretty happy. Now, as I told my 8 year old, I did not finish the Grot Orderly. But this is ORKtober, not Grottober, so that seems thematic
