Nilaru
I was directed to this lovely site to help me experiment with colors for painting my minis, but I can't seem to find it. The link in the Forge Resources doesn't work, and the links I was provided also do not work. Is that tool still available? Apologies if this has been asked before or if I am breaking a rule in asking. Please forgive me newness. Solution Grotsmasha Posted October 10, 2023 Solution Share Posted October 10, 2023 Unfortunaetly the site upgrade borked the painters. They are being worked on, but aren't quite funtional yet. jaxom
I've been using the free software GIMP to recolor images from GW's webstore to test schemes. Here's a video going through the basics. Nilaru
Thank you for the answer! I will try out Gimp while waiting for the painters to come back online. Much appreciated! Cagle
Recently I've been using the SM painter to make the paint scheme for my WIP homebrew chapter, but it doesn't have the armor types I want, so I went looking for something else when I found an article talking about a new SM painter, but I can't find anyone else talking about it. Is this real or fake? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380787-bc-painter/#findComment-5995389 Share on other sites

Is this real or fake? Sorry, but this is old... like really old. That painter was a thing for probably ten years but has been discontinued with the forum's software migration Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380787-bc-painter/#findComment-5995392 Share on other sites
Frogian
If you have an android phone I would recommend impcat. Magos Takatus 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380787-bc-painter/#findComment-5995395 Share on other sites
FormelyKnownAsSmashyPants
There’s a version of Impcat that works on iOS devices too, so if you’ve got an iPad or iPhone it’s a really good option aswell. Jolemai
As this was neither News, Rumour, nor a Board Announcement, I've moved it to a relevant forum and merged it with a similar thread created very recently.
