Converting Invictor tactical warsuit to dreadnought advice

Hey everybody,

 

My brother grabbed the space Wolves combat patrol box and decided he didn't want the Mecha unit that comes with it. I was wondering if anyone has any experience converting it into a dreadnought or has ideas on if it would be possible? Cheers!

Anything is possible, but I think it'd be a lot of work and may not look great unless you are much more talented in that area than I am -  it'd be a lot easier if you've already built a dreadnought and have the spare hull front plate and alternate gun.

Yeah if you have any left over Redemptor bits, a little plasticard and slapping those bits on and boom you're basically good.

Otherwise, plasticard up the baby cage, make a little view slit, and it'll look a little plain but it's doable.

Pop Goes the Monkey has created a lot of alt pieces for the Invictor and Redemptir that are affordable that might suit your purposes

Probably easier to see if someone wants to trade one!

From a gaming perspective, I would say it's more important to get the weaponry correct rather than the chassis.

It can be converted but easier just to sell it and buy a cheap Redemptor on ebay!
