AdamR
Did a quick search, but couldn't find anything... If a unit (lets say Hellblasters) has a Shoots on Death ability, does it get to fire normally if the model is slain while in engagement range? I checked the Out of Phase Ability and Shoot on Death sections of the rules commentary, but didn't see anything. By the same token are units that fire overwatch at an enemy at the END of it's charge move still eligible to fire at full effect? Solution TrawlingCleaner Posted October 31, 2023 Solution Share Posted October 31, 2023 Correct, it would fire normally and follow all normal shooting rules Something to consider is that if it's in engagement range, it can only fire pistols, unless it has another rule that allows it to shoot in combat or is in combat with a vehicle or monster. Hellblasters for example, still have plasma pistols so can still shoot their combatants Karhedron, Emperor Ming and N1SB 1 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/380997-shoots-on-death-in-the-fight-phase/#findComment-5998747 Share on other sites
