Hi all,

I recently entered my third decade of life on this mysteriously verdant space rock, endlessly spinning in the cold void of space. And like for so many others, this accrual of time has bestowed upon me knowledge, experience, skills - all of which I am now able to exchange with a large corporation in return for money. Not an exceedingly impressive sum, but enough that I am able to live comfortably - and more importantly, fund a hobby that I fell in-love with as child, and am now determined to reclaim as an adult.

Which is what brings me here!

Through-out the last twenty-odd years since I last purchased a kit, I've stayed loosely aware of Warhammer - but definitely more-so in the last ~five, mostly through the consumption of Warhammer 30/40k lore content on Youtube. And with the recent release of the MKIII HH kits (which I understand are a little controversial, but I personally love), I decided to take the plunge and buy back into the hobby. So, I'm VERY fresh back into the fold.

My main drivers in returning to the hobby come more from the modelling, and painting side of things. And I'm looking forward to engaging in the community here, and hopefully sharing some of my own work as I re-familiarise myself with glue, paint, brushes, and epoxy putty.

See you around!

Welcome!  And don't be put off by an "controversy" about models you like - people on the internet are going to complain no matter what happens.

The B&C as a whole has a emphasis on the painting & modelling side of the hobby, so you should fit right in.  I look forward to seeing your models when you share them.
