I hope this is the right forum for this.

In the Siege of Terra novels, all kinds of warp-related weirdness is happening as the final confrontation approaches. This includes time being fluid or undefinable, from the POV of the characters, and also objectively in the setting.

I do not play the game, so I am only very superficially familiar with scenarios and rules. My question is, have the game books and more important, the game rules, followed (or led) the novel narrative regarding time? Are there any time-based rules introduced in the game, where pieces, say have to be played according to time shenanigans? Is there text explaining such rules if they exist? (in the game books/rule books).

Thanks.

Thanks.

I did look at Crusade (FW Gamebook 9) and also at the Siege of Cthonia book. The first covers up to the end of the Thramas Crusade (a couple years before the Solar War) and the second happens at the same time as the events following the teleport assault on the Vengeful Spirit. There is no mention of any time-related anomalies in the SoC, and the Rules Addendum has nothing related to time being manipulated etc.

Crusade is told by “AK” (a POV) and the SoC tale by “TRW”  a scholar?? on Ophelia (the book is presented as part of “the truth of the Imperium”, obviously a POV). So they can still be seen as tales that can be amended. The POVs are pretty balanced though.

I don't know of any other rule/scenario addendums that have been released since SoC (in any media) that could relate to the time anomalies of the end of the SoT.
