Inquisitor_Lensoven
Just curious if anyone had any good kitbash/conversions for ogryns. links or your own would be appreciated. im planning to use lead belchers from AOS, and hoping I can slap some ripper guns on them, but I’d love any and all other inspiration. Xin Ceithan
I have toyed with ogryns both from AoS and Necromunda over the time.. the Necromunda ones are probably easiest to adapt since the come with guard like basic outfits I’d guess but you can really go wild on basic ogryn with a little GS Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381710-good-ogryn-conversions/#findComment-6003819 Share on other sites
Trokair
I don’t know about good, but I did convert a few Ogryns at the start of 8th for a 1000p Ogryn Regiment using the Imperium Keyword to include units with Ogryn like profiles from other imperial armies to round out the list, before that was nolonger allowed. The Scathian XX Auxillia Regiment Led by a Inquisitor Karamazov count as Spoiler With a Ogryn Psyker in support (Mephiston count as) Spoiler And some Ogryn heavy weapon specialist (Kataphron count as) Spoiler Xin Ceithan and duz_ 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381710-good-ogryn-conversions/#findComment-6003826 Share on other sites
dice4thedicegod
I used Landsknecht Ogres from warlord Atlantic. You get nine in a box but no bases. Build either renaissance or modern-ish. here’s how some of mine turned out: duz_, Xin Ceithan, Trokair and 1 other 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381710-good-ogryn-conversions/#findComment-6004266 Share on other sites

They are on 40mm bases and their feet only just fit :) Inquisitor_Lensoven 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381710-good-ogryn-conversions/#findComment-6004276 Share on other sites
Inquisitor_Lensoven
Rather than start a new ogryn post, I’ve got some ordered, so how does everyone here view them, and how have they worked for you? 5+sv means they won’t be that durable, but T6 is nice, and they seem like a decent unit to dissuade charges with. the ripper guns are solid MEQ killers at range, and in melee their 1D is less than ideal, but S6 is nice and puts gravis on notice, 4 attacks hitting on 3s isn’t bad.
