Grudge match against black legion

Finally got my first game of 10th in.

 

aside from a weird dude who knew my opponent forcing his way into our game with a couple of knights, it was fun.

 

I was so worried about remembering the flamestorm detachment rules (which I wasn’t even successful with) I forgot about OoM.

 

aggressors, captain, biologis knocked a squad of havocs off the board, took 2 squads of warp talons and a hellbrute to clear them.

 

inceptors killed 7/10 legionnaires on his home objective. They fell back and the hellbrute ended up charging them.

 

dread with assault cannon killed 3/5 of another warp talon squad.

dread with multimelta failed to do anything at all.

 

flappy chappy with DC wrecked a squad of warp talons

 

stormraven survived until T4

Interesting Deployment; I'm guessing you weren't expecting anything to appear behind you? Also, how did you find using the Stormraven in Hover mode?

Yeah he had nothing in DS or reserve.

 

The Raven was just fine in hover. 20” wasn’t far enough to get to his deployment zone in turn 1.

 

out of 15 warp talons only 2 survived, and out of 3 havoc squads only 1 survived.

I did something like 6 damage to the hellbrute. 
couldn’t do much of anything against the two baby knights.

 

didn’t even waste my time trying to mess with his abaddon termie blob.
