So down for this.

Will post a vow later this evening.  Start of Boxing Day here now but I am out at a family event for most of the day.  Not sure how I will go after the back injury but been able to have a few painting sessions of recent so why not, in true Brother Argent style, push myself.

Now to decide what to do...

Well, not what intended or not what I expected to challenge myself to do but:

I, Brother Argent, vow for the Boxing Day Bash 2023 to assemble and paint 13x parts for the Imperial Objectives set that came with the Conquest magazine

Wish me luck...

Well, I got them assembled so far...  But good lord the mold lines...  I think I might head to bed now after priming them and actually get paint on models tomorrow.

At least they are quirky models and hopefully wont take long once I start after a sleep.  Today has been... hectic...

Last year there was a Vindicare, this year I am going to build, paint and base Culexus and Eversor Assassins. For Mars and AdMech subforum of course

Forum pledge

I, Trokair, vow to complete one metal papa genestealer for the honour and glory of the RPG Nook.

I picked this guy up second hand a few years ago, a trip through the stripping tank and some undercoating later and he is good to go.

I assembled my miniature about a month ago and left it unpainted in anticipation of painting it today. Seems I forgot it's supposed to be unassembled.

I vow one painted Tallyman by the end of the day.

I, Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch, vow to paint and base two Space Marine Heroees tactical marines for the glory of the Liber!

I purchased these guys pre-assembled and primed them back when it was still warm, and I’m traveling tomorrow, but here we go anyway! I’ll succeed or I’ll fail, and either way there’ll be paint on the plastic. Allons-y!

Let's give this another go. I had planned to paint this mini for the boxing day bash back in January when I pledged a plodding along vow over in the 12 months of hobby. I forgot that I should have left it on the sprue to start. Nevermind. One inquisitor Grey Fax.

Vow completed for the tallyman. I had a lot of fun painting the nurgling and did a lot of color mixing to achieve the shade of green. Might do some touch ups.

I have not come up with a basing scheme for the army despite it being my largest so far so I will not be partaking in that step.

I really enjoyed this and the challenge. Wish the picture did the model a bit more justice.

Looking forward to next year's bash!
