Cpt Lazarus
Finally getting back into the hobby after a few years off and digging through my Pile o shame and half finished projects. Are there any options for alternative flight stands for these kits out there? The clear plastic stands are rather junk. Sky Potato
I got some of those smokey jet effects from eBay. There’s a seller who 3D prints different versions for Inceptors and Suppressors. They’re really good. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381982-alternative-mounting-for-suppressors-and-inceptors/#findComment-6011775 Share on other sites

Grotsmasha
There's always the option of pinning them to the feet to raised scenery bases Firedrake Cordova 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381982-alternative-mounting-for-suppressors-and-inceptors/#findComment-6011802 Share on other sites

First impressions are that they’re very good, but I haven’t gotten round to pinning and painting them yet. andes and Firedrake Cordova 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/381982-alternative-mounting-for-suppressors-and-inceptors/#findComment-6011824 Share on other sites
lhg033
Magents at the top of the stand and another sunk in where it connects in the backpack. think I used either 2 or 3mm x 2mm in each. strong enough to support the model but detaches rather than breaks - never had a problem since. I haven’t done it yet for Inceptors, but they’ve got the same size jet packs as jump intercessors and the outside edge sprues fit perfectly into them. So if you cut off one of the sprues just around a corner and then 3-3.5cm down, you have a stand that’s perfect for adding cotton ball smoke trails to.
