I didn’t know, other than Mortis at Prospero (which is a bit of a special case), so googled this. Apparently the wolves also fought alongside Astorum, gryphonicus, Ignatum and solaria. 
 

in general though, the legions and legios were independent and not closely linked. GW have been careful to avoid creating any combinations that can be called “wrong”. The heresy is a confused time with scattered forces all over the place fighting on different sides.

 

So do whatever you like, basically, and make up a story for it if you want. My advice would be to pick a legio you’d like to play in AT or one whose colour scheme worked well with wolves. Something with transfers available is also a good option.
