L30n1d4s
So, I am trying out a Blood Angel list, including the Librarian Dreadnought with its "Wings of Sanguinius" ability. By my reading, there is no restriction against using it on a a friendly Astartes Infantry Unit within 12" that is locked in combat (meaning I can use this ability to have a unit escape melee) and, as I read it, this move is not a Fall Back move either, so that means the selected Infantry unit is free to Shoot and Charge this turn after it has been moved. Is that an accurate interpretation of the "Wings of Sanguinius" rule? I am asking because, if it is the way i understand it, that makes this ability even more powerful than I realized! To add a little bit more context, any ability which puts you into Strategic Reserves requires you to not be in engagement range, but any ability which moves you on the same turn (such as a Weirdboy's Da Jump ability) do not require this. There's neither anything in the Designer Commentary either to say that the unit is falling back; essentially it has elected to Remain Stationary and only when the ability has been used does the unit count as having made a Normal Move.
