Sons of Horus - Pride of the Legion 2000/ 3000 points

I’m not new to 30k as I’ve played in 1.0 but returning to it in 2.0 and starting out with a new army. I’m struggling to make what could be a good list that can hold its own and build it up to a 3000 point list that could go to a tournament. What do you think to the list below?

To get to 3000 points, upgrade the Tartarus land raider to a Spartan and add Horus. This leaves 270 points, what would be best to add to the list?

I think Horus for 3000k can be a bit too much. Maybe add some veterans

Do you mean he’s too many points or too much to face against? 
 

Does the basis for 2000 points look ok?

I think is too many points in one miniature *but what a miniature!*.

Yeah, for 2K I think is more than fine!
