This first example came up in another thread - the Inner Circle Taskforce has a number of Deathwing required strats and Enhancements (obviously) but Deathwing is no longer Terminators only/mainly.   All Dreads are now Deathwing, as are Vanguard Vets.

Martial Mastery - reroll 1's to wound for Deathwing Infantry -

Relic Teleportarium - Deathwing Deep Strike Only - Deep Strike just outside  3" but cannot charge Vanguard Vets with 10 (Sadly 6" Range) Inferno Pistols.  Even without the MELTA boost that's going to hurt - especially with +1 to the Wound Roll as the Detachment ability and rerolling 1's from up above.

Wrath of the Lion - Random Mortals based on model count in engagement range - Also leans itself to 10 cheaper Vanguard Vets.

Company Hunters Det - sounds like it would be a great Det to borrow for White Scars Biker Armies - especially since it makes Outrider Units (Up to 6 bikes and an ATV) Battleline so you can have 6 of them (important since White Scars technically don't have Black Knights)

The DW and RW Detachments are both quite badly designed in that they are considerably better for things that they are not supposed to be for than their intended focus.

Inner Circle will be good with Deathwing Characters leading other units (Non Deathwing) so they get the benefits.  Hellblasters will love the detachment rule for example.

The mobility from the RW will be very nice for footslogging ground troops.

I think some will try our detachment for White Scars but the consensus seems to be that there are two issues with this:
1:  The vanilla White Scars Detachment is just better.
2:  Outriders, even at 80, are junk and so you wouldn't want 6 of them.

Luckily WS canonically don't field bike formations like RW, they are just a much bigger part of their mixed forces.  However with the CoH affecting everything maybe it would be better for them?

Loyalist codex marine see "captain on bike" missing.

Necron received 3 new models, but the very ancient destroyer kit wasn't updated.

Ravenwing receive nothing as the most famous biker force in whole 40k story.

CSM update is soon, and their bike just is also an ancient kit. If it also doesn't get updated, we can conclude that GW has no love to bike at this time point of 10th. They may focus their energy to update infantry and heroes models.

I'm not sure the RW are the most famous biker force when you consider White Scars and Wild Riders, but its debatable.

I'm also not sure we've seen all the releases we're going to.  Talonmasters and Strikemasters are still fluffed in the Codex, so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them re-released before 11th.

Beyond that I also expect to see a number of FAQ/Rewrites to come out soon.  The "Bladeguard" Captains and Lieutenants do not get "Deathwing" - The right way to fix it is to add Bladeguard keyword to Captains and Lieutenants who make that switch, that then hits the Bladeguard Ancient and Deathwing keyword propagation.
