I've just pulled the trigger on a diorama for Necromunda and I'd like to have a couple of human casualty models, I'm not overly fussed if they look like any particular House/gang, only that the models I am using in the diorama are Redemptionists so I'd like to keep them distinct looking from that. I'm looking for models preferably laying on the ground. I wouldn't be that opposed to converting my own up but since Necromunda generally sells models by the gang it's an expensive proposition.

Has anyone seen models that would fit that criteria? I'm not entirely opposed to looking for generic human models online but I'd prefer the general Necromunda aesthetic for this one. Either that, or some cheap models it would be easy to take a knife to in order to look a bit... unwell.

I'm in the early stage so plans are a bit vague right now but any help or goo ideas would be appreciated.

Update: I have found the Hive Scum box on Wayland games and I will give that a go. I didn't see it on the GW site, did they discontinue it, or did I just miss it? I am still open for further ideas, I may need conversion parts or alternative models anyway.

Hive Scums are still around

If you just want one or two gangers or so have you considered bits sellers, the per model price will be higher than if you bought a box, but it still be cheaper than a box if you do want just a few bodies, especially if you want some from different gangs.

Thanks for the help! I spotted the Hive Scum box on the GW site after I made the order from Wayland. I felt a bit silly for not seeing them before, but Wayland sell them for a discount anyway.

I have decided on a focal point model that I set up in Hero Forge. I have a friend with a resin 3d printer so I ordered an STL file. I can resize that a bit to fit the scale of Necromunda more easily with an STL file too.

He looked pretty roughed up and hopefully won't look too glaringly out of place. I can also paint the tread pattern on his boots so that's not a problem. It's a shame It didn't let me pose the legs, I think it would have looked a bit more natural if one was slightly bent at the knee or otherwise reposed slightly but it was the best I could get.

I saw this model:

Human Resilience Fighter Corpse C Papsikels Terminator Tabletop Wargaming Sci-Fi 32 mm Grimdark image 1

...but I wasn't sure on the scale and thought it looked a bit too obviously inspired by the Terminator films. If cutting up the Hive scum models doesn't bear any fruit I guess I can go back to him.

This project got expensive quickly. I'll get the parts arrive in the next few days. Hopefully my friend can print the sitting guy for me in the next few days but I'm not going to bug him, I have plenty to do with other parts of the project and he's got his own things to do.

Some updates since I've started to blog-ify this request post. I bought a Mantic terrain Crate industrial set and had a blast messing about with it and I'm working on the basic layout of the diorama. One of the Redemptionists won't stand up (he probably got wrecked off his face on promethium fumes) but you get the idea. I need another bend in the conveyor belt and found a smaller version of the kit I bought to get accessory pieces. There will be boatloads of spare parts from that set to furnish other terrain pieces and base details in the future.

My friend kindly printed my Hero Forge design for me. too:

Could be a little bit more sharp but I can happily work with this.

I am also intending to use LEDs for the first time. I've got a kit with one red LED, and a flickering red and flickering orange LED.
