Xenith Posted February 29 Share Posted February 29 The magazines are delivered by a separate group (warner, above) but GW mail order trolls will generally be able to let you know if there's been an issue with your sub. GW proper has been having shipping issues recently, but as WD delivery is handled by another company, there shouldn't be a problem. Your best bet is to contact GW, who will either be able to sort the problem out, or put you in touch with who can (e.g. in the UK distribution is handled by Warners). In my experience, they've been pretty helpful when dealing with issues over the phone, but e-mail has been less effective - the one time I had a delivery issue and contacted them via e-mail I was told that they'd spoken to the manager of my "local" GW in France and I could collect a copy from there (reminder - I'm in the UK); phoning them had it sorted within 5 minutes. They said half the US January issues didn’t get shipped when they should and the February issue is running late too. He said he was sending me a replacement January just in case and to call back if I haven’t received the Feb issue within 2 weeks. I think I’ll just call from now on and not waste time with emails. dalmer Posted March 1 Share Posted March 1 IMHO, the US subscriptions are always late. Very late. I'm in WA state. I got 495 as my most recent... and 497 had already dropped in stores. Wifey poo bought my 496 and 497 from the store. A week later (this is LAST week mind you), 496 came in the mail. I have yet to get an issue within three weeks of it being in stores. Multiple contacts to no avail... HOWEVER, there's a small print line for US subscribers that say it may run late. Trade off for us between price and timing. Thankful enough to be able to worry about a late mag sub, so try and keep perspective.
