Doghouse
Just wondering if anyone can help out with this probably obvious question but I just want to be clear. Say I am taking an Astartes recon company detachment, the rules say units with the Heavy keyword have to remain in reserve. Would this also apply to an allied detachment or purely the recon company? Secondly is it possible to take Astartes with Solar Auxila or Militia allies and take a knight as a lord of war on top of that? I'm pretty sure I know the answers but got into a conversation with some friends who proceeded to confuse me and make me doubt myself. Any help greatly appreciated. Solution Noserenda Posted March 2 Solution Share Posted March 2 Im pretty sure in general Rites of War restrictions only apply to the FOC that contains it unless otherwise noted, i may be wrong though! In the case of the Recon detachment, its specifically says this detachment a lot, so just the recon company foc. You absolutely can take a knight or whatever you want in your LoW detachment unrelated the the others you may have in your army as long as its allegiance matches :) Doghouse and Xenith 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/382446-question-about-allies/#findComment-6025925 Share on other sites
