Looking for a very old quote

I'm not even sure if this is the right forum for this question, but here goes.

 

I'm looking for the full text of a quote that ends with:

 

"We are the Adeptus Astartes - guardians of the stars - the Space Marines."

 

Now this could have come from a rule book, a painting guide, anything, and is very very old.

 

Not a lot to go on I know, but if anyone remembers where it came from that'd be a great help!

Are you sure about the 'guardians of the stars' bit?

It doesn't ring any bells and isn't very space mariney, to my ears anyway.

You helped me find it! I had to agree it wasn't very space mariney, so I tried to figure out what it could have been written on - and it's the back of the RTB01 box set!

 

The quote is:

 

We are the guardians of humanity.

We face the dangers no-man may face.

We are the Adeptus Astartes - Masters of the Stars - the Space Marines.

 

So I had it mixed up a bit!
