Yesterday,I found  this article: "20 Horus Heresy Solar Auxilia Trooper Colour Schemes and Painting Recipes All In One Place", by Vicent Knotley, from his own blog.

Quite interesting and useful I think. And very handy. Some schemes are really cool. 

Each image per Trooper and colour scheme .

Thanks for sharing. The GW scheme does nothing for the models and I've been looking for other stuff but I guess it's too early still.

Since it's Vincent Knotley I imagine it's just a matter of time before we see a Warhammer Community article.

I think the scheme in the second row, second from the left illustrates a good principle idea for painting large quantities of these guys. Pick a monocolor scheme for the under-suit and armor, then use washes to darken the under-suit.
