Hello folks,
I wrote this list with the idea of adding another 3000 point list.
I personally think it is quite fluffy and still has more than enough punsh.
The tactic with this list is to attack as fast as possible with the two Spartans, while the Rhinos drop the veterans on the mission objectives and then annoy the enemy a little with their melters.
What do you think?

That few number of units is going to have a rough time. Thinking back to my own Iron Fire list and my NL drop pod list and they will maul it fairly easily. You just dont have the firepower to get away with much especially if your transports get shot out from under you on turn one or two. But on the bright side, set up and movement is a breeze unlike my drop pod list which turn 1 takes forever.

really? I thought that the Spartans are more than enough anti-tank with their lascannons and the scorpions bombard the anti-tank infantry, which should make the Spartans survive longer.

About the Siege Tyrants. Are they really that strong? I was only half convinced by their rules.

Tyrant Siege are very good. They are expensive in terms of points but in my experience players are very reluctant to shoot at them because of the threat from return fire. I like to stick a siege breaker with mine to give them sunder which makes them a really potent anti-armour unit. If you play them right, between interceptor, return fire, overwatch and their normal shooting they can put out an absurd number of shots over the course of a game. Sure, they struggle against other terminators and things with a 2+ save but even there, the fact the missiles are S8 means any that do get through are instant death for them.

I’d agree with what others have said that I think you have too few units, particularly ranged anti-tank. You could try dropping one of the Spartans and using a warmonger to deep strike in the other squad of terminators. The points saved could buy some iron havocs or more bodies for the list.

My basic IW list is a Levi with storm cannons, an AC Iron Havoc squad. land raider with 5 dominators, contemptor with lascannon, scorpius, and some troops and quad launchers with phosphex. It is a normal take all comers list for me and I have faced a twin spartan +/- land raider list several times and had zero issue, heck I have only lost my Land raider once. One of the issues is you have to move to the enemy in order to cap objectives or do anything. Meanwhile a TAC list can sit back with the fire support while maneuver units do their thing or just wait for the fire support to finish off the enemy vehicles. Point being that a list with more mid-tier quality units will typically beat down an army with only a couple very high quality(and high point) units.

The AC Iron Havocs are insanely good for their points especially with a character that buffs their BS and will shred a land raider a turn with ease, I highly recommend them.
