Black Book Campaigns - did anyone play these? Thoughts?

Hi everyone, 

 

I was just wondering how many people played the black book campaigns, especially the narrative ones (rather than just Conquest), and how they found them?

 

I'm looking to adapt Tempest for a 'sudden betrayal' campaign, and wondered if people found it a good one - or any of the others?

I take it no did play any of the black book campaigns!

It's been awhile and I'm on a bus rather than near any reference material but I recall them generally being a bit crap?

 

Some of the scenarios were good, but tended to be a bit specific

Yeah I'm not sure, and definitely don't want to do bad scenarios or campaign at an event. I do feel the campaigns were clearly where a lot of heart went, but wonder if maybe also were so specific to Mr Bligh, Mr Hoare and Mr French's local play.
